Malvina sounds like something between a whisper and a color. Soft at the start, open at the end. It was the only name that fit.
I was looking at a ballet dancer's shoe when the idea came to me — that particular shade of nude that disappears against the skin and makes the foot look like it's barely touching the ground. Kidskin nappa was the obvious material: the softest leather we work with, with a surface that holds light without reflecting it. Malvina in powder nude is the shoe that makes everything above it look intentional without asking for any attention itself.
