Castagnina is the Italian diminutive of castagna — chestnut. That warm russet-gold that appears in Tuscany every October when the harvest begins.

We do two collections a year — Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter — because we believe a shoe should belong to a moment. Castagnina belongs to October: the colors of the Italian countryside right before the cold comes, the layered quality of goat suede and calfskin that only gets richer with age. Named for a season. Works in all twelve months.
