Every pair begins with the hands — strips of goat suede woven one by one to form the upper. You can see the slight ridges where the strips cross, the way the color deepens at each intersection. No two pairs are identical. In rosa polvere it carries the color of a sea dawn before the heat arrives. In oliva polvere it has the green of olive trees when summer is at its fullest.
