Oriana comes from the Latin aurum — gold. It arrived in Italy in the fifteenth century through chivalric literature: the name given to the beloved, the woman the knight carried with him even when she wasn't there.
This particular shade of emerald belongs to the Italian countryside in October — the hills when the light gets low and everything turns deep and saturated.
Made from goat suede with a calfskin lining, finished with polished gold hardware and a chunky rubber sole — warmer and more grounded than our unlined styles, and built for the colder half of the year.
