Malvina sounds like something between a whisper and a color. Soft at the start, open at the end. It was the only name that fit.
Malvina started as a ballet dancer's shoe — nude kidskin nappa, barely there. Then we made it in goat suede and something shifted. The same softness, the same close fit, but warmer and more grounded — a shoe that belongs to autumn walks and worn-in wardrobes as much as the original belongs to morning light. Unlined. An elastic band across the vamp keeps it in place. Two versions of the same name. Completely different moods. The silhouette sits best on a narrow foot.
